titleOfInvention Electrophotographic sensitive body
abstract PURPOSE:To reduce deterioration of electric charging characteristics and sensitivity and rise of residual potential by incorporating at least one of a group of a compound having hindered phenol structural units, an organic sulfur compound, and an organic phosphorus compound in a photosensitive body provided with a photosensitive layer containing a specified compound on a conductive base body. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive body containing at least one of the group of the compound having hinder phenol structural units, an organic S compound, and the organic P compound is obtained by forming on the conductive base body the photosensitive layer containing the compound represented by formula I in which each of R1, R2, R4, and R5 is optionally substituted alkyl, such aralkyl, or such aryl group; and R3 is H atom, alkyl, or alkoxy group, thus permitting deterioration of chargeability and sensitivity and rise of dark decay and residual potential to be remarkably reduced.
