abstract | PURPOSE:To obtain the titled compound useful as a silane coupling agent industrially and advantageously, by reacting an allylamine with a hydrosilane in the presence of both a cyclic olefinic compound and an inorganic rhodium carbonyl complex. CONSTITUTION:An allylamine (preferably allylamine, N-methylallylamine, N- ethylallylamine, 2-methylallylamine, diallylamine or allylethylenediamine) shown by formula I [R1 and R2 are H, 1-10C alkyl, 2-10C alkenyl or (substituted) phenyl; R3 is H or 1-6C alkyl] is reacted with a hydrosilane shown by formula II (R4-R6 are alkyl and at least one of R4-R6 is alkoxy) in the presence of both a cyclic olefinic compound and an inorganic rhodium carbonyl complex containing a carbonyl ligand to give the aimed compound. |
