titleOfInvention Thermosetting resin composition
abstract PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition practically curable at 150 deg.C, capable of forming durable coating films of outstanding adhesiveness and corrosion and alkali resistances, by blending a specific vinyl polymer and amino resin. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be obtained by blending (A) a vinyl polymer with the main chain virtually consisting of vinyl polymer and the side chain containing 2-40mol.% of a group of formula I (R<1> and R<2> are each H, alkyl or aryl; R<3> is alkyl or hydroxyalkyl; R<2> and R<3> may form a heterocycle in combination with nitrogen atom. through linkage to each other; X is alkyl, aryl or aralkyl; n is 1-4; m is 0 or 1), 2-60mol.% of a second group of formula II (R<5> and R<6> are each H, alkyl, hydroxyalkyl, aryl or aralkyl), and 0-80mol.% of polyfluoroalkyl ester group and (B) an amino resin.
