abstract PURPOSE:To heighten static preventing property by coating one surface of a polyester film with a coating liquid containing the polyurethane having the carboxyl radical or its salt in its side chain, polyvalent epoxy compound and the metallic salt of sulfonic acid or the metallic salt of sulphate, and then curing said materials. CONSTITUTION:One surface of a polyester film is coated with the coating liquid containing the polyurethane having carboxyl radical or its salt in its side chain, polyvalent epoxy compound and the metallic salt of sulfonic acid or the metallic salt of sulphate, and then they are cured. The polyvalent epoxy compound is the epoxy compound having two or more epoxy radical reacting to polyurethane, and it may be the water soluble or water dispersing epoxy compound of the compounds shown by the formula I and addition condensed compound of epichlorohydrin with bisphenol A. The metallic salt of sulfonic acid is the compound shown by R-SO3M (R: hydrogen carbide radical, M: metal), and the metallic salt of sulphate is the compound shown by R'-OSO3M (R': alkyl radical, M: metal).
