abstract |
PURPOSE:To obtain the titled separating agent consisting of a fixed phase obtained by bonding avidin readily available from egg white to a carrier such as silica gel, cellulose or synthetic polymer. CONSTITUTION:The titled separating agent consisting of a fixed phase obtained by bonding avidin readily available from egg white by precipitation by ammonium sulfate. The separation of optical isomer especially in the field of medicine is made possible by the separating agent. A method for bonding avidin to carrier include e.g. method for bonding avidin using aminopropylsilica gel as a carrier and N,N-disuccinimidylcarbonate as a crosslinking agent or using silica gel as a carrier and 3-gricidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane as a crosslinking agent. The above-mentioned separating agent is mainly used in liquid chromatography. |
