NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by formula I [R1 represents residue of alpha-aminoacid (ester-fonding)]. EXAMPLE:Pivaloyloxymethyl 7-[D-O-(L-alanyl)mandelamide]-3-[(1,2,4-thiadiazol-5- yl)thiomethyl]-3-cephem-4-carboxylate.hydrochloride. USE:A remedy for microbism usable by oral administration. PREPARATION:A compound expressed by formula II is reacted with a compound expressed by formula III, ester or salt thereof in an inert solvent such as water, acetone or dioxane, preferably in the presence of a condensing agent (example; N,N-dicyclohexylcarbodiimide). |
