abstract | PURPOSE:To obtain the titled stabilized composition useful for chronic renal diseases simply and efficiently, by dissolving an vitamin D3 of active type and an excipient readily soluble in an organic solvent in the organic solvent, mixing the solution with an excipient slightly insoluble in the solvent and the distilling away the solvent. CONSTITUTION:A vitamin D3 of active type {e.g. R1 is H or OH; R2 is group shown by formula II (r1 and r2 are H or OH with the proviso that when r1 is H, at least one of r1 and r2 is OH)} and an excipient (e.g. polyvinyl pyrrolidone or methyl cellulose) readily soluble in an organic solvent (e.g. methanol or ethanol) and blended with an excipient (e.g. crystalline cellulose, starch or casein) and the solvent is distilled away to give the aimed substance. |
