abstract | PURPOSE:To obtain the titled pet food having a cut area of a striped pattern and appearance similar to that of marbling beef or fatty flesh of bonito, comprising a kneaded material consisting of a layer having ground fish as a main material and a layer having eggshell powder as a main material. CONSTITUTION:(A) Ground meat is kneaded with (B) 0.1-20wt.% (based on total raw material) eggshell powder obtained by dispersing an alcohol to eggshell powder having <=100mu particle size in the weight ratio of 1:1-1:2 (weight ratio) to give the aimed pet food which has good appearance, causes buying desire of owners of cats and dogs and is inexpensively and readily producible. |
