titleOfInvention | Thin object of ethylene copolymer mixture |
abstract | PURPOSE:To obtain the title thin object excellent in heat resistance and heat sealability, and suitable as, e.g., a packaging material, by mixing two specified ethylene copolymers together and molding the obtained mixture. CONSTITUTION:A copolymer (A) of ethylene with an unsaturated mono- or di-carboxylic acid (anhydride) and, optionally, a vinyl ester compound or an (alkoxy)alkyl (meth)acrylate compound in mixed with a copolymer (B) of etylene with a monomer having at least one double bond (e.g., glycidyl methacrylate) and, aptionally, a vinyl ester compound or an (alkoxy)alkyl (meth)acrylate compound so that the amount of component A may be 1-99wt.% and the molar ratio of the epoxy groups of component B to the carboxyl groups of component A may be 1:0.1-5. This mixture is molded to obtain the title thin object of a thickness of 1mum-5mm and a content of an extraction residue with boling xylene of 25-75wt.%. |
