abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a high sensitivity and wide spectral sensitivity characteristic up to a visible light region by incorporating the anion salt of the org. boron compd. of an org. cationic dye compd. and specific compd. into a photopolymn. initiator. CONSTITUTION:This compsn. contains the addition polymerizable compd. having at least one ethylenic unsatd. double bonds, the photopolymn. initiator and if necessary, a linear org. high-molecular polymer. The photopolymn. initiator is a combination of at least one kind of the anion salt of the org. boron of the org. cationic dye compd. and the trihalomethyl-S-triazine compd. expressed by the formula I. In the formula I, X denotes a halogen atom.; Y denotes -CX3, -NH2, -NHR', -NR2'-OR'. R' denotes an alkyl group, substd. alkyl group, aryl group, substd. aryl group; R denotes -CX3, alkyl group, substd. alkyl group, aryl group, substd. aryl group, substd. alkenyl group. The high sensitivity to the active rays of the wide region from UV light to visible light is thereby obtd.
