titleOfInvention Antitumoral and manufacture
abstract PURPOSE: To produce a stable, solid and water-soluble antitumor medicine for reconstruction by water, etc., comprising m-AMSA and pyroglutamic acid of an amount specific thereto, having antitumor properties and high water solubility and useful for intravenous injection. CONSTITUTION: This stable, solid and water-soluble antitumor medicine for reconstruction by water or an aqueous vehicle is obtained by mixing m-AMSA with 1-2mol pyroglutamic acid based on 1mol m-AMSA. A water-solubility of the pyroglutamic acid is extremely increased by combining the one with nicotinic acid. The m-AMSA and the pyroglutamic acid are used in a form of dry-filling or a vacuum-lyohilization product. A sufficient amount of the nicotinic acid is preferably used in an amount of 100-400mg, preferably 300-400mg per ml aqueous solution when performing the reconstruction. The medicine can be administered by a bolus injection, which is impossible hitherto.
