titleOfInvention Manufacture of optical disk base
abstract PURPOSE: To improve a production yield by enabling control of an increase of an error rate even if a transfer mold is used repeatedly, by making use of the transfer mold whose temperature has been risen through irradiation of ultraviolet rays by cooling the transfer mold down to a temperature at a value prior to the irradiation of the ultraviolet rays. n CONSTITUTION: Ultraviolet curing resin 3 is piled up on a guide groove 2 of a transfer mold 1 made of nickel. Then, positioning is performed by mounting a transparent base on the same and the transparent base is pressed. Then, the ultraviolet curing resin 3 is cured by irradiating ultraviolet rays to the same. In this instance, the irradiation is performed by restoring the transfer mold 1 to the normal temperature by cooling the transfer mold 1 at every use or the transfer mold 1 is fitted to cooling equipment such as water cooling equipment. Therefore, even if a process is repeated by making use of the same transfer mold 1, viscosity of the ultraviolet curing resin 3 to be formed in the guide groove can be kept at 100W200 CPS (centripoise) and the generation of bubbles can be prevented. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio
