titleOfInvention | Method for removing slime |
abstract | PURPOSE: To remove slime and to prevent the resticking of the slime for at least several months by adding hydrogen peroxide or inorg. and org. hydrogen peroxide adducts which liberate hydrogen peroxide in an aq. water to service water. n CONSTITUTION: The hydrogen peroxide or the inorg. and org. hydrogen peroxide adducts which liberate the hydrogen peroxide in the aq. soln. (e.g., sodium carbonate and hydrogen peroxide adduct) as well as org. peroxide (e.g., performic acid) are added into the service water. The concn. of said materials to be used is usually specified to 100W10,000ppm. As a result, the slime generated in the service water system is entirely removed and in addition, the remaining of the slime as in the conventional method does not arise; therefore, the resticking of the slime is prevented for at least several months if the slime removing operation is once carried out by the above-mentioned method. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio |
