abstract | PURPOSE:To increase the adhesive strength of an element as well as to prevent the characteristical deterioration of diodes and the like for the subject slug lead by a method wherein an oxide film is formed on the surface of the glass sealed wire used in the slug lead, and the sagging generated on the section is prevented by using an Ni-Cr-Fe alloy. CONSTITUTION:In the case of the slug lead 3 to be used for the element 4 of a glass sealing diode and the like, an alloy consisting of Ni: 41-43%, Cr: 5-6% and the remaining is Fe is used as the glass sealed wire 11 to be welded to a lead wire. An oxide film 11a of chrome oxide and the like is formed on the surface of the sealed wire 11. An element 4 is pinchingly attached to the end section of the sealed wire 11 of a pair of slug leads 3, a sealed glass tube 5a is covered, arranged in a jig 6, the element 4 is adhered by performing a heat- treatment and a glass sealing. As the phenomenon such as copper sagging and the like, generated on a dumet wire, are not produced on the section face of the sealed wire 11, the element 4 has no inclination and can be firmly adhered to the prescribed position, thereby enabling to prevent the chraracteristical deterioration. |
