abstract PURPOSE: To stably obtain a properly humidified oxygen enriched gas by fitting a humidifying means to an adsorption type oxygen enricher and placing a means of preventing the transfer of heat generated from a motor and a compressed air feeding means to the humidifying means. n CONSTITUTION: Compressed air is produced by driving a compressed air feeding means such as a compressor by the power of a motor and gaseous nitrogen in the compressed air is adsorbed on an adsorbent for selectively adsorbing gaseous nitrogen by feeding the air to an adsorption bed packed with the adsorbent to produce oxygen enriched air. This oxygen enriched air is humidified with a humidifier to obtain oxygen enriched air having a prescribed humidity. During the production, the motor and the compressor are cooled with a flow of air from a fan, and a partition plate or the like is placed so as to prevent the heating of the humidifier by the contact of a flow of heated air with the humidifier.
