titleOfInvention Silver halide color photographic sensitive material
abstract PURPOSE:To obtain the titled material having excellent color reproducibility and capable of forming a magenta image having high sensitivity and high coloring density by incorporating a pyrazoloazole type magenta coupler and carboxylic acids having non-coloring and anti-diffusion properties in the same layer of the photosensitive material. CONSTITUTION:The titled material comprises the pyrazoloazole type magenta coupler shown by formula I and the carboxylic acids having the non-coloring and the anti-diffusion properties in the same layer of the photosensitive material. In formula I, R<1> and X are each hydrogen atom, etc., Za-Zc are each methine, a substituent, =N- or -NH- group, at least one of Za-Zb and Zb-Zc bindings is a double bond, and another of them is a single bond. When the Zb-Zc binding is the carbon-carbon double bond, said binding comprises the part of a aromatic ring. When R<1> or X forms a polymer of for example, more than a dimer, or Za, Zb or Zc is the substd. methine, a substd. methine comprises the polymer of for example, more than dimer. The concrete example of the compd. shown by formula I comprises preferably the compd. shown by formula I-1.
