abstract PURPOSE:To prevent a cyan picture image from deterioration with time lapse by using a specified cyan coupler in combination with a specified compd. CONSTITUTION:A cyan coupler expressed by the formula I and each at least one kind of compd. expressed by the formulas II or III are contained in a photographic sensitive material. Q1 in the formula I is an atomic group necessary for forming a >=5-membered N-contg. heterocyclic ring; Z1 is H or a group which is eliminated by the coupling reaction of an oxidized body of a developing agent; R1 is acyl, sulfonyl; R2 is H, 1-8C aliphatic group. R in the formulas II and III is H, aliphatic group, or aromatic group, etc.; R1-R5 are H, or a substituent; R' is H, aliphatic group, or acyl group, etc.; A is a nonmetal atomic group necessary for forming 5-7 membered ring. By this constitution, a picture image having fastness for light, heat, and moisture and superior reproducibility for color causing hardly yellow strain on the white ground is obtd.
