abstract | PURPOSE:To obtain a resin compsn. having excellent resistance to impact and chemicals and coatability at low temp., by blending an arom. polycarbonate with a thermoplastic polyester, a specified graft copolymer and a polyolefin. CONSTITUTION:A resin compsn. consists of an arom. polycarbonate (A), a thermoplastic polyester (B), a graft copolymer (C) obtd. by copolymerizing a 5-12C (meth)acrylic monomer and an arom. vinyl compd. in the presence of a diene rubber and a polyolefin (D) in such an amount that the component A is 35.5-87.5wt%, the component B is 10-62wt%, the component C is 2-15wt% and the component D is 0.5-5wt% based on the total amount of the components A, B, C and D. The compsn. can be molded by any of conventional molding methods, but is particularly suitable for use in large-size injection molding. The molded products are useful as external finish materials for automobiles after coating. |
