titleOfInvention Production of double bond-containing thermoplastic polyester
abstract PURPOSE: To readily introduce double bonds and obtain a polyester capable of crosslinking, by melt reacting specific two kinds of thermoplastic polyesters. n CONSTITUTION: A thermoplastic polyester consisting of at least one kind of saturated carboxylic acid component and at least one kind of diol component is melt reacted with a thermoplastic polyester consisting of an acid component, consisting essentially of a dicarboxylic acid component containing double bond and at least one kind of diol component and having ≥0.05, particularly 0.15W0.7 intrinsic viscosity at a ratio to give a double bond-containing dicarboxylic acid component in an amount of 3W20mol% based on the total dicarboxylic acid components. A polyester, containing an aromatic dicarboxylic acid component and aliphatic and/or alicyclic diol component and having 200W300°C melting point is used as the former polyester. A polyester containing fumaric acid component and/or maleic acid component and an aliphatic and/or alicyclic diol component is used as the latter polyester. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio
