abstract |
PURPOSE:To provide totally primary structure of a polypeptide having specific binding activity to ANP (atrial natriuretic polypeptide having diuretic hypotensive action) and a gene to code the polypeptide. CONSTITUTION:A polypeptide having alpha-hANP specific binding activity is obtained from swine cortex renis and purified into unity to elucidate a partial amino acid sequence. Further based on the information, the gene of the polypeptide is successfully isolated, identified and the total structure of the polypeptide is made clear. The structure is a sequence of 750 amino acids shown by the formula. |
