titleOfInvention Simple reference electrode
abstract PURPOSE: To decrease measurement errors and to miniaturize a reference electrode by providing a hardly soluble oxidation reduction material layer on the electrode surface and providing an ion permeable high-polymer film thereon to form the reference electrode. n CONSTITUTION: The hardly soluble oxidation reduction material layer 4 parted by an insulating part 3 is provided on part of a conductor 2. Said layer 4 is coated with the ion permeable high-polymer film to constitute the reference electrode 1. Azobenzene, p-quinone, chloranil, 2,6-diaminoanthraquinone, etc., are used as the hardly soluble oxidation reduction material layer 4. A photosetting resin and photosensitive resin are used for the ion permeable high- polymer film 5. Urethane acrylate, etc., are used for the former and PVA, etc., are used for the latter. The hardly soluble oxidation reduction material is dissolved in a solvent and resin to prepare ink. The ink is then coated and printed on the electrode surface. Since the ink contg. the hardly soluble oxidation reduction material and insulating resist are used, the reference electrode is easily formable by printing. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio
