abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a thermoplastic resin composition having excellent water- absorption resistance, impact resistance and heat-resistance, by compounding a polypropylene resin, a polytetramethylene adipamide resin, a specific unsaturated compound and a specific peroxide and mixing the mixture under heating. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be produced by heating and mixing a mixture of (A) 3-97pts.wt. of a polypropylene resin, (B) 97-3pts.wt. of a polytetramethylene adipamide resin (nylon 4,6), (C) 0-50pts.wt. of a rubber polymer, preferably ethylene-propylene copolymer, etc., (D) 0.01-10pts.wt. (based on 100pts.wt. of A+B) of a compound selected from unsaturated acid anhydride (preferably maleic anhydride), an unsaturated compound having amino group or substituted amino group (preferably acrylamide allylamine, etc.) and an unsaturated compound having epoxy group (preferably glycidyl methacrylate) and (E) >=0.05pts.wt. (based on 100pts.wt. of A+B) of a peroxide having >=2 peroxide bonds.
