| abstract | PURPOSE: To enable quick and easy washing of a guide pipe of an extruder and to facilitate the change-over of the grade of spun fiber, by using triethanolamine as a cleaning agent in the washing of degraded polyamide remaining in an extrusion-type melt-extruder. n CONSTITUTION: A polyamide is subjected to melt-spinning with an extrusion-type melt-extruder. The degraded polyamide remaining in the extruder is washed off by using triethanolamine as a cleaning agent.
