titleOfInvention Acoustic diaphragm
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a plastic diaphragm which is light and has high rigidity and whose efficiency and reproduction frequency limit are high and where the distortion of form hardly occurs and the distortion of sound occurs little by constituting it with polyester film which isn't drawn or drawn by at least uniaxially including polybuthleneterephtalete component with ≥50 wt.%. n CONSTITUTION: A film which mainly consists or polybuthleneterephtalete (PBT) and has lower Young's modulus than polyethyleneterephtalete is selected as diaphragm material and in order to keep its compatibility and the feature as PBT, the PBT component is more than 50 wt.%, ≥60 wt.% is preferable. PBT system resin which is used in such case, is consisted essentially of PBT polymerized with terephthalic acid and 1, 4-butanediol and means a copolymer with other polyester and/or the blended one. The intrinsic viscosity of the PBT system resin is in the range of 0.5∼3.0dl/g usually, the range of 1.0∼2.0dl/g is preferable. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio
