CONSTITUTION:This developing soln. compsn. contains an arom. prim. amine color developing agent, preferably 4-amino-3-methyl-N-ethyl-N-[beta-(methane sulfonamido)ethyl]-a-niline and a compd. represented by formula I (where each of R<1> and R<2> is H, alkyl or aryl and R<1> and R<2> may bond to each other to form a ring). The preservability of the compsn. is remarkably improved by further adding hydroxylamines represented by formula II [where each of R<3> and R<4> is H, (un)substd. alkyl, (un)substd. alkenyl or the like and R<3> and R<4> may form a hetero ring together with N].
