abstract PURPOSE: To obtain an oil based recording ink suitable for ink jet recording, etc., having improved quick drying properties after printing, water resistance, etc., by adding oil-soluble dye and a specific polyoxyethylene alkylamine ether to an organic solvent. n CONSTITUTION: (B) Oil-soluble dye and (C) a polyoxyethylene alkylamine ether shown by the formula (R is 6W18C alkyl; n and m are 0W10) are added to (A) an organic solvent (e.g. butyl benzoate, etc.) to give the aimed ink.
