titleOfInvention Polyamide and composition thereof
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the titled novel polyamide, composed of specific diacyloyldiamine component units, having excellent transparency, heat resistance, mechanical characteristics, dimensional stability, low water absorption, moldability, etc., and suitable as a molding material, etc. n CONSTITUTION: A diamine [e.g. α,α'-bis(4-aminocyclohexyl)-p-diisopropyl benzene, etc.] and a dicarboxylic acid (e.g. adipic acid, etc.) capable of forming units expressed by formula I (X is divalent phenyl etc.; Ar 1 is 6W25C hydrocarbon group) are reacted to form (A) a diacyloyl diamine component unit. On the other hand, a diamine (e.g. 1,4-diaminobutane, etc.) capable of forming units expressed by formula II (R 0 is 4W25C hydrocarbon group; Ar 2 is 6W25C hydrocarbon group) and a dicarboxylic acid are reacted to form component (B). 5W100mol% component (A) is kneaded with 0W95mol% component (B) while heating, e.g., at 280W360°C, to provide the aimed polyamide. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio
