titleOfInvention Production of stainproof polyester yarn
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain titled yarn having durable stain resistance, by copolymerizing a specific polyoxyalkylene glycol component at least one part of ends of polyester containing an alkylene terephthalate unit as a main constituent unit and quenching yarn after extrusion. n CONSTITUTION: A modified polyester copolymerized with 0.5W10wt% of a polyoxyalkylene glycol component shown by formula R 1 O(R 2 O) n (R 1 is monofunctional organic group containing no active carbon; R 2 is alkylene; n is 20W140 integer) at least part of ends of a polyester containing an alkylene terephthalate as a main constituent unit is subjected to melt spinning. The extrusion hole of a spinneret consists of a flat slit or two or more flat slits. The ratio a/b of length of of long side of the slit to length b of short side of the slit is ≥10, preferably ≥25, draft is ≥300, preferably ≥1,000 and winding rate is ≥4,000m/min, preferably ≥4,500m/min. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio
