abstract | PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of bent fibers and fluffs and improve the productivity of fibers in a process of melt-spinning a thermoplastic polymer, by forming a layer of fluorinated graphite particles having a specific average particle size in a specified thickness directly on the surface of a spinneret. n CONSTITUTION: Fluorinated graphite particles having an average particle size of ≤5μm are coated directly on the surface of a spinneret to form a 50W500μm thick layer and a thermoplastic polymer such as a polyester is melt-spun using the coated spinneret.
