abstract | NEW MATERIAL:The compound of formula. USE:A color-developing substrate for the determination of protein C (a precursor for hemopexin). It specifically bonds to protein C activated with thrombin, etc., has low cross-reactivity to thrombin and is effective in simplifying the operation in clinical use. PREPARATION:The objective compound can be produced e.g. by synthesizing prolylphenylalanylthreonylphenylalanine by peptide synthesis method and reacting the obtained compound with arginyl p-nitroanilide in a solvent such as THF in the presence of a condensation agent (e.g. diphenylphosphoric acid azide) preferably at 0 deg.C- room temperature. |
