NEW MATERIAL:A pyrazolecarboxamide compound shown by formula I (R is methyl or ethyl; R 1 and R 2 are H, halogen, lower alkyl or lower alkoxy). n EXAMPLE: 1,3-Dimethyl-5-fluoro-N-phenylpyrazole-4-carboxamide. n USE: A fungicide showing fungicidal effects on various plant pathogenic fungi, especially on plant blight caused by fungi belonging to Basidiomycetes through prevention, treatment, permeation and transfer. Being effective against sheath light of rice plant, rust of wheat, scab of apple, etc. n PREPARATION: A chlorine-substituted pyrazolecarboxamide compound shown by formula II is subjected to chlorine/fluorine exchange reaction with a fluorinating agent in an inert solvent such as toluene, etc., at 100W200°C to give a compound shown by formula I. Potassium fluoride, etc., are used as the fluorinating agent and the amount of the agent used is 1.0W5.0mol based on 1mol compound shown by formula II. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio |
