titleOfInvention Production of blood-coagulating factor ix complex
abstract PURPOSE: To produce the titled complex having a high purity, by subjecting a blood-coagulating factor IX-contg. soln. contaminated with an antigen relating to blood-coagulating factor VIII to a salting-out treatment using ammonium sulfate. n CONSTITUTION: A blood-coagulating factor IX-contg. soln. which may be contaminated with an antigen relating to blood-coagulating factor VIII is treated with 5W45%, preferably 15W35% ammonium sulfate at 5W9pH, preferably 6W8pH at ≤15°C, preferably 2W10°C to precipitate the antigen relating to the factor VIII. The treated soln. is e.g. centrifuged to recover the supernatant, which is optionally dialysed or otherwise treated to separate the salt to provide the highly pure factor IX or a complex thereof. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio
