| abstract | PURPOSE: To supervise the scanning dislocation of a light beam by counting a beam detecting signal outputted from a beam detecting means with a counting means, and when the counting value is different from the counting value set beforehand, informing an informing means of the scanning position dislocation of the light beam. n CONSTITUTION: For example, when a laser beam 27 is made incident by the locus as shown in an arrow B, only the laser beam 27 from slits S 1 ∼S 3 is converged to a photoelectric converting element 1a and only three signals in the number of pulses of a beam detecting signal BDD are counted.
