titleOfInvention Method for cleaning liquid by utilizing titanium oxide
abstract PURPOSE: To enable continuous and practicable cleaning of fluid with high efficiency by forming the titanium oxide suspended in the fluid to be treated to ultrafine particles and forming a large number of such ultrafine particles to porous lumps by a light transmissive material. n CONSTITUTION: The particles of the titanium oxide are suspended into the fluid to be treated and light is projected thereto to clean said fluid by the oxidizing power of the titanium oxide and to separate the particles of the titanium oxide from the cleaned fluid. The titanium oxide to be suspended into the fluid to be treated is made into the ultrafine particles (more preferably ≤0.1μ) and a large number of the ultrafine particles are formed into the porous lumps (more preferably 2W1,000μ) by the light transmissive material (e.g., ultrafine mica powder). As a result, the cleaning treatment is efficiently executed and the sepn. of the titanium oxide is facilitated. The continuous execution of the cleaning up treatment is thus permitted. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio
