titleOfInvention Soil release polyester fiber and production thereof
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the titled fibers for underwear, etc., without blackening even in high washing frequency, by melt spinning a modified polymer obtained by partially copolymerizing ends of polyester such as ethylene terephthalate, etc., with a polyoxyalkyleneglycol component at a high take-off speed. n CONSTITUTION: A modified polyester obtained by partially copolymerizing ends of a polyester containing ethylene terphthalate as a chief constituent unit with 0.5W10wt% polyoxyalkyleneglycol component expressed by formula I (R 1 is monovalent organic group having no active hydrogen; R 2 is alkylene; n is an integer of 20W140) is melt spun at ≥4,500m/min take-off speed to provide the aimed fibers having a crystal size [(100)A] (A) at (100) face satisfying formula II (Δn is birefringence of product fibers) and formula III, ≤100% elongation and ≥3g/de strength. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio
