titleOfInvention Nonaqueous electrolyte cell
abstract PURPOSE:To improve the low-temperature discharge characteristic by using at least trifluoromethane sulfonic acid lithium as a solute constituting a nonaqueous electrolyte and using at least ethylene carbonate and 1,3-dioxolan as a solvent. CONSTITUTION:A negative electrode using lithium as the active material, a positive electrode, and a nonaqueous electrolyte consisting of a solute and a solvent are provided. The solute contains at least trifluoromethane sulfonic acid lithium, and the solvent contains at least ethylene carbonate and 1,3- dioxolan. The reduction of the ratio of the solute against the solution in the electrolyte at a low temperature can be suppressed, thus the solute is prevented from being deposited on the negative electrode to decrease the effective reaction area of the negative electrode. A nonaqueous electrolyte cell excellent in the low-temperature discharge characteristic can be thereby obtained.
