titleOfInvention Sintered soft magnetic material
abstract PURPOSE: To produce a sintered soft magnetic material having superior magnetic performance at a low cost by mixing Fe, Co and Al powders in specified ratios, press-molding and sintering the mixture. n CONSTITUTION: Co, Al and Fe powders each having -350 mesh particle size are mixed so that the mixture is composed of 45W52wt.% Co, 0.2W3.0wt.% Al and the balance Fe. The mixture may further be mixed with ≤2.0wt.% powder of Pb, Nb, W, Ti, Ni, Cu, Zn or Mo or ≤5.0wt.% in total of powders of two or more kinds of such metals. The powdery mixture is then mixed with 0.8wt.% zinc stearate as a lubricant and press-molded. After the zinc stearate is volatilized and removed from the molded body by heating to 400°C in vacuum, the molded body is sintered at 1300°C in a gaseous Ar atmosphere. A sintered soft magnetic material having high saturation magnetic flux density can be produced at a low cost. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio
