abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain the title composition excellent in adhesion to copper foils and polyimide films, heat resistance and solvent resistance, by mixing an epoxy resin with diaminodiphenylmethane and dicyandiamide. n CONSTITUTION: 100 pts. wt. diaminodiphenylmethane (i) is mixed with 10W30 pts. wt. dicyandiamide (ii) to obtain a curing agent (b). 100 pts. wt. bisphenol A epoxy resin (a) of an epoxy equivalent of 150W1000 and an MW ≥ 300 is mixed with 10W50 pts. wt. component (b) to obtain the title composition. This composition is dissolved in an organic solvent and the solution is applied to a polyimide film and heated at 100W120°C for 5W30 min into a tack-free state.
