abstract | PURPOSE: To shorten an access time by holding address converting information to assign a memory block into a special address space based on a first part of an address signal and accessing it to address converting information at the time of selecting a second part of the address signal. n CONSTITUTION: Address converting information based on the first part of an address signal is held at a memory cell array 1, and with the information, a memory block to divide a memory cell array into plural is assigned into an address space larger than a memory capacity. A selector 3 inputted by address inputs A 12 WA 19 and A 0 WA 11 , when an MAP input 11 is inactive, selects the inputs A 12 WA 19 and supplies them to the array 1. Further, outputs DO0W3 of the array 1 are supplied to the address input of a memory array 2, an output DO4 of the array 1 determines whether or not the array 2 is mapped to a converting address, a present bit output is given to an NMAP output 14 and when the present bit is 1, the access of the array 2 is prohibited. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio |
