| abstract | PURPOSE: To shorten an access time by holding address converting information to assign a memory block into a special address space based on a first part of an address signal and accessing it to address converting information at the time of selecting a second part of the address signal. n CONSTITUTION: Address converting information based on the first part of an address signal is held at a memory cell array 1, and with the information, a memory block to divide a memory cell array into plural is assigned into an address space larger than a memory capacity. A selector 3 inputted by address inputs A 12 WA 19 and A 0 WA 11 , when an MAP input 11 is inactive, selects the inputs A 12 WA 19 and supplies them to the array 1.
