titleOfInvention Suppressant against reduction in partial pressure of oxygen
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the titled suppressant useful for hypocapnia during artificial respiration of operation patient under general anesthesis, comprising acetylsalicylic acid or a derivative or a salt thereof as an active ingredient. n CONSTITUTION: The suppressant is effective for reduction in partial pressure of blood oxygen resulting from hypocapnia, in a state of abnormally reduced carbonic acid in blood, especially for operation patient under general anesthesis and effective against reduction in partial pressure of blood oxygen caused by hypocapnia during artificial respiration. DL-Lysine salt of acetylsalicylic acid is especially preferable as the acetylsalicylic acid used. The salt becomes water- soluble, can be intravenously administered and causes no gastrointestinal disorder. A dose is dependent on weight, age, etc., usually about 5W100mg/kg calculated as salicylic acid daily and administered dividedly once W several times. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio
