abstract | PURPOSE:To prevent the surface detect such as uneven streaks on the surface of polymer passed through a mouth piece and the fluctuation of the thickness of said polymer from developing by a method wherein the specified amount of Cr element is incorporated in the specified site of the mouth piece. CONSTITUTION:In a mouth piece 1, which consists of stock mainly made of iron 12-100 wt.% of chromium element is contained in the surface of its polymer flow path 3 and 0-11 wt.% of chromium element is contained in the surface of its underside 2. As a result, the uneven streak-like surface defect on the surface of polymer passed through the mouth piece 1 and the fluctuation of the thickness of the sheet can be prevented from developing. As thermoplastic polymer, with which the above-mentioned effect is obtained remarkably, polyethylene terephthalate, polyethylene naphthalate and polyphenylene sulfide are exampled. |
