titleOfInvention | Plastic molding method for surface of manhole lid |
abstract | PURPOSE: To manufacture easily and inexpensively a manhole lid of a plastic surface having a colored pattern, by adhering a plastic board which has contained non-skid particles such as a pigment and hard silica sand to a manhole lid body. n CONSTITUTION: A manhole lid body 1 is made, for example, of graphite cast iron and a recessed part 2 is formed on a circular sphere on the top. In case, for example, of a design of a flower and leaf, a resin solution 6 obtained by mixing a white pigment, hard silica sand and chop into FRP resin is cast into a recessed part 5 of the flower of a female mold 4 up to a position of a base. A similar resin solution 8 whose pigment is made into a green color is cast into a recessed part 7 of the leaf. Then a resin solution 9 obtained by mixing a black pigment and the FRP resin with each other and a mat 10 are molded integrally by laying the mat 10 on the way and casting the resin solution 9 on the mat 10, and a plastic board 3 having a white and green projected parts respectively for the flower and leaf, is obtained. The plastic board 3 is fitted into the recessed part 2 of the manhole lid body 1 by applying an adhesive agent 12 to the same and making the projected part into the top side, which are stuck together by heating and pressurizing them. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio |
