titleOfInvention Photosensitive composition
abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a photosensitive compsn. having superior developability for aq. alkali developing soln. and superior durability for printing by incorporating polyurethane resin having carboxyl groups and specified siloxane bonds into the compsn. CONSTITUTION:The title photosensitive compsn. contains polyurethane resin having carboxyl groups and siloxane bonds expressed by the formula: identicalSi-O- Siidentical. Also a photosensitive compsn consisting of an o-quinonediazide compd. as a photosensitive compd., a negatively acting diazonium compds., a polymerizable monomer, and a photopolymn. initiator, or a compsn. consisting of a negatively acting diazonium compd., polymerizable monomer, and a photopolymn. initiator, etc. may be used. Accordingly, either a positive photosensitive compsn. or a negative photosensitive compsn. is obtainable. Such photosensitive compsn. has superior coatability when it is coated on a base, and superior developability for aq. alkali developing soln. when the compsn. is coated, dried, and image-exposed, and then developed. Since an obtd. relief image has high abrasion resistance and high adhesion to a base, a great number of satisfactory printed matters can be obtd. when the compsn. is used in a printing form.
