titleOfInvention | Method for evaluation of standard substance and object to be examined for densitometry |
abstract | PURPOSE: To reduce the effect of X-ray scattering due to an object to be examined even when there is a distance between the substance to be examined and a film and to perform stable X-ray photographing, by mounting a bottom surface member having a punched part at the principal part of the bottom surface of a standard substance and expanding to the periphery of the standard substance. n CONSTITUTION: As a standard substance, a plate shaped bottom surface member substan tially vertical to an X-ray irradiation direction at the bottom surface thereof and having X-ray absorbing capacity is provided. The bottom surface member has a punched part at least at the principal part of the bottom part of the standard substance and expands to the periphery of said standard substance. For example, when an alumi num staircase or slope is placed to the crotch to take the X-ray images of left and right femoral parts, the bottom surface of the aluminum staircase or slope is surrounded by a metal plate 1 having a punched part 2 for projecting X-rays only at the part where the standard substance is placed. By this method, a stable X-ray image is obtained with respect to an object to be examined easy to generate X-ray scattering at the time of X-ray photographing using the substance such as the alumi num staircase or slope. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio |
