PURPOSE: To obtain the titled polysiloxane having excellent solubility, by sulfonating alcoholic hydroxyl groups of a specific alcoholic hydroxyl group- containing polysiloxane and subjecting the resultant reaction product to ring opening polymerization with oxazolines. n CONSTITUTION: (A) Alcoholic hydroxyl groups of an alcoholic hydroxyl group- containing polysiloxane expressed by formula I [R 1 is 1W18C alkyl or aryl; R 3 , R 4 and R 5 are OH, allyloxy, 1W20C alkyl, etc.; R 2 is (ether or ester bond- containing) 1W100C alkylene; m is ≥1; n is ≥0 and 2≤m+n≤2,000] is (partially) sulfonated and the resultant reaction product is then subjected to ring opening polymerization with (B) 2-oxazolines expressed by formula II [R 6 is (OH- containing) 1W40C alkyl, aryl, etc.] to afford (C) the aimed poly(N- acylethyleneimine) graft polysiloxane expressed by formula III (k and n are ≥0; l is ≥1 and 2≤k+l+n≤2,000; 1≤p≤200). n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio |
