abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain the titled polymer in high yield, by gas phase polymerization method by the use of a catalyst having high activity obtained by treating a catalytic complex of specific solid titanium trichloride with an organoaluminum compound, a polysiloxane and propylene in a contact state and blending the treated substance with an organoaluminum compound. n CONSTITUTION: The aimed polymer is obtained by polymerizing propylene alone or propylene containing another α-olefin, by using a catalyst which is prepared by treating a catalyst complex of solid titanium trichloride type having an aluminum content in an atomic ratio of aluminum to titanium of ≤0.15 and containing a complexing agent with propylene in a contact state in the presence of an inert solvent, an organoaluminum compound and a polysiloxane to give propylene polymer-containing titanium trichloride having formed 0.1W100g propylene polymer per g solid titanium trichloride on the complex and blending the propylene polymer-containing titanium trichloride with an organoaluminum compound. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio |
