titleOfInvention | Production of culture medium |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain an excellent culture medium containing much nutriments, by piling up straws, sprinkling water on the straws, fermenting the straws, adding a fertilizer containing excreta, rice bran and oil cake, generating brewing heat, supplying air to the interior of the straws and blending urea therewith in several divided steps. n CONSTITUTION: Straws are piled up, sprinkled with water and allowed to stand and then excreta, rice bran and oil cake are added. The resultant blend is allowed to stand to generate brewing heat. Air is subsequently supplied to the interior of the straws and cutting back is carried out to prevent partial temperature increase of the culture medium. Urea is then blended in several divided steps to carry out uniform and effective fermentation. After moisture is conditioned and an after-fermentation step is passed, mushrooms are cultivated. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio |
