abstract |
PURPOSE: To obtain a plastic lens colored simultaneously with casting and polymn. by previously adding oil soluble color when a specified polyisocyanate compd. and a specified polythiol compd. are cast and polymerized. n CONSTITUTION: A polyisocyanate compd. having two or more isocyanate groups in one molecule and a polythiol compd. having two or more thiol groups in one molecule are selected so that the total number of the groups is regulated to ≥5. When the compds. are cast and polymerized, oil soluble color is previously added. A plastic lens colored simultaneously with casting and polymn. can be obtd. without requiring a special coloring stage.
