abstract | PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition excellent in appearance, moldability, high rigidity and low-temperature impact resistance and useful for automobile external trims and outside panels, by mixing a composition comprising a polytetramethylene terephthalate, an aromatic polycarbonate and a specified butadiene graft copolymer with a carbon fiber and carbon black. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. composition comprising 45-70wt.% polytetramethylene terephthalate (A) of an intrinsic viscosity of 0.40-1.50 (in o-chlorophenol at 35 deg.C), 15-30wt.% aromatic polycarbonate (B) (e.g., 4,4'-dihydroxydiphenylalkane polycarbonate) of a number-average MW of 15,000-100,000 and 15-25wt.% butadiene graft copolymer (C) obtained by graft-copolymerizing a vinyl monomer selected from among a methacrylate (b), an aromatic monovinyl compound (b) and a vinyl cyanide compound (d) with a butadiene polymer (a) is mixed with 0.5-5pts.wt. carbon fiber (D) of an average length >=0.2mm and 0.5-5pts. wt. carbon black (E). |
