titleOfInvention Fluorinated vitamin d3 derivative
abstract NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by formula I (R' 1 is H, OH or protected OH; R 2 is H or protecting group of OH; R 3 is H, F, OH or protected OH; R 4 and R' 4 are H or either thereof is H and the other is F, OH, etc., or together may form oxo; at least one of R 3 , R 4 and R' 4 is F). n EXAMPLE: 24(S)-1α,25-dihydroxy-24,26,26,26,27,27,27-heptafluorovitamin D 3 . n USE: With vitamin D-like physiological activity and useful as a remedy for various diseases caused by abnormality in absorption, transportation and metabolism of calcium, antitumor agent and further remedy for rheumatism and psoriasis. n PREPARATION: A novel compound expressed by formula II is irradiated with ultraviolet rays in an inert solvent in an inert atmosphere, such as nitrogen or argon, at -10W+40°C to provide a compound expressed by formula III, which is then heated at 20W120°C to afford a compound expressed by formula III. The resultant compound, as necessary, is subsequently deprotected to provide the aimed compound expressed by formula I. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio
